五月天 MayDay NOWHERE World Tour - Singapore

Sunday, February 26, 2012

It was an amazing and memorable night for me yesterday at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Because I managed to watch 五月天 MayDay's concert.

MayDay's concert is always full house and everybody stands up, sings and jump!

It's about 3 and a half hours concert and it ends at midnight! I wish they can sing past midnight. 

* Stay tuned to the blog for the concert photos and the details of the concert in the next post.

River HongBao 2012

Sunday, January 29, 2012

Today is the birthday of human beings, known as '人日'. If you haven't been to River Hongbao 2012, you must go and visit it today!

Well, I went to the River HongBao 2012 on the second day of Lunar New Year. Crowds could still be seen around 11pm. I guess there were more people on the first day of LNY.

Took a short and quick walk around the River HongBao 2012, as there were many people crowding around to take photos.

I discovered that there were more games and rides for this year's River HongBao 2012.

I didn't try out the food at River HongBao 2012 food street on that day.

However, I did try out this stall selling vegetarian mee soup at $4 per bowl on another day.

The soup is quite tasty but not the mee.

I was expecting to see people gathering around the 'God of Fortune' who is wearing red again. To my surprise, I saw another version of 'God of Fortune'. I prefer the 'God of Fortune' in red costume.

Looks like a birdpark in the above image.

Wishing everyone a Happy Lunar New Year in the year of Dragon.

Lunar New Year's Eve 2012

Saturday, January 28, 2012

It's the year 2012, and it's my first entry for 2012.

It had been pretty busy for me, especially during the Lunar New Year. Had been doing spring cleaning, buying goodies, new clothes... helping out....painting etc. As usual I went to Chinatown, like most Chinese will do. I went there on the 21st and 22nd of January 2012.

This year, My mum bought some New Year's candies and goodies, one of my favourite, cashew biscuits. Stuffs were going cheap on New Year's Eve, 8 boxes for $10, instead of 7 boxes. We bought 4 containers at $1.50 each for small, and $2 for a big, as there were not much choices left. After we made our payment, the vendors changed their prices to 1 container for $1. In the end, we bought 1 more. Haha.

After our shopping at Chinatown, we went to buy groceries for reunion dinner. It was a simple reunion dinner this year, without steamboat. Just simple vegetarian dishes.

This time, I spent my New Year's Eve watching TV programmes after my reunion dinner with my family. (which I normally didn't watch the TV for the past few years!)
