Brother Bear 2

I just watched 'Brother Bear 2' on DVD. This movie was released four years ago. I remember I had watched the first series of Brother Bear. However, I had forgotten the story of the first series until I got to watch the second series. Memories seems to bring me back. I can still remember the characters like, Kenai and Koda, the cute chatty young bear.



In the second series, the story revolves between Kenai and his childhood friend, Nita. She was given an amulet from Kenai and needs to burn it at Hokani Falls before she can marry Atka. Kenai, Nita and Koda got to understand each other more when they were on their way to Hokani Falls. They saw aurora when they reached Hokani falls and the lights are amazing. I guess the aurora is going to be very beautiful in reality.



Overall, I think that Koda is an innocent yet magnanimous bear that makes the whole story touching in season 2. The most touching and courageous part is when Koda asks his mother in spirit land to turn Kenai back to human and went to the village to get Nita. Koda cannot go to the village as the villagers will try to kill him. Koda wants to sacrifice his happiness in exchange for Kenai and Nita's happiness. It is a noble act. In the end, Kenai doesn't want to turn back into a human but Nita wants to be a bear instead. That's the power of love. And the three bears lived happily ever after.
