At noon, we took the train to Kranji MRT station and boarded a bus into Johor Bahru. Everything was on budget. By the time we reached Larkin bus terminal, it was already 2pm. There was no tickets for the 3pm coach, so we decided to have our lunch at Mcdonalds while waiting for the 4pm coach to Malacca. I'm surprised to see that they had fried chicken added in their menu, and the prices for their set meals were cheaper!

(^ Lunch for the day )
After our lunch, we had a walk around Larkin bus terminal since our coach would only arrived at 4pm.
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKWy7oDY0-px-7mXW2u7yAKBR7f8AkHAiEhEu1eyMTFMA_1-qP6YZZItTqqq8-lYzDrvWF9vE7Q-gt-zSSIRvzeY93RFbenzegub-woDFRFM86ehjz2JhdcR5JxubJxrhWHz6QEZFZ4vA/s320/melaka2011_june_1b.jpg)
Actually, I don't have the habit of going to public toilets, in places like Larkin bus terminal. However, I was afraid that I might need to go to the toilet halfway throughout the whole journey, so in the end, I went. As expected, the floors were wet and rubbish everywhere.

Finally, the coach arrived and it took us almost two and a half hours to reach Melaka Sentral. By the time we reached Malacca, it was already evening. After alighting the coach, we quickly boarded another bus at the price of RM1 each to our hotel for check-in. We reached our hotel at about 7:15pm.
After the check-in, we went for our lunch at a food stall opposite the hotel that we were staying in. I guess it was a famous chicken rice stall since there were lots of celebrities photos hanging on the wall. We ordered a plate of chicken rice each, and drinks, of course.

We decided to come back later since the vendors would still be around until very late. So we headed to Mahkota Parade shopping mall. On our way to Mahkota Prade, we came across these places...

Surprised to see coin-operated massage chairs in shopping malls. I took a try by putting a dollar note for 3 minutes. It's a fun experience although I don't feel comfortable sitting on it.

(^ Mini karaoke booths!! )
Another thing that I'm excited about was to find so many mini karaoke booths in the arcade! I can't find this kind of machines anymore that uses token to operate.
After having a 'mini concert', we headed to Jonker street again before going back to the hotel.
My brother bought a stick filled with potato slices from this stall. Average taste.

We woke up at about 10am and stayed at our hotel room until checked out at 11:45am. We went to have our lunch at a nyonya restaurant.

(^ The shops directory of Dataran Pahlawan Megamall... )
Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall was so huge that I don't even know where I was located in the mall. I don't even have the time to walk around the mall due to our tight schedule. We had only about an hour of free time before heading to Melaka Sentral.

(^ A piece is enough... )
Before we leave Malacca, we bought 2 slices of Melaka famous layer cake from Nadeje Patisserie cafe, the original and tiramisu flavours respectively. Fluffy, smooth and light in texture, it tastes like sponge cake with layers of ice cream in between.

(^ secretly took a photo of the interior view of the bus. )
We took the 'red' bus back to Melaka Sentral from Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall at 2:55pm. The trip costs RM1.50 each and it took about an hour to reach Melaka Sentral.
We booked the 6pm coach back to Singapore. By the time we reached Singapore, it was already 9:30pm. We didn't get any souveniers or local products from Malacca, however I bought an 'imitation' brand purse instead.
